My Childhood-_Sim Ying Xuan

My name is Sim Ying Xuan. I am sixteen years old this year. I was given birth on the 7thJanuary 1993 at Thomson Medical Hospital. There are six members in my family. They are none other than my dad, mum, grandfather, sister, brother and myself. My dad and mum is working, my grandfather used to work but retired already cause of his sickness. Two of my sibling are still currently studying. My sister is 14 this year and my brother is 12 this year. Being the oldest, i have to set a very good example so that they will follow my footstep and respect me.

When I was young, my parents usually dote on me more. When i was at the age of 7. I remembered once asking my mum if i can learn how to swim and her reply was why not, it's never to late to learn. So i challenged myself and i took up swimming courses. I was once selected in a 200m relay. I come in second out of 6 people. A few months later, my mum asked my siblings to take up swimming courses as it is a good exercise. I also think that swimming is a good activity which burns lots of calories , is easy on joints, builds muscular stength and endurance!

My parents show their care and concearn to my siblings and i . I appreciate it very much as some family got problems where their parents are divorced or separate. I feel very thankful that i got a complete family.

When i was in Primary School, i study in Paya Lebar Methodist School. My sister and i study in the same primary school while my brother study in Monfort Primary. I shall elaborate more on my primary school days. My cca is Girls Brigade last time .
